Active Living for a Healthy Community or Act-Heal is an initiative designed to promote physical, emotional and mental health for all.
An award-winning community program that collects used computers and peripherals, refurbishes and distributes them to people in need, while adhering to environmentally safe methods of recycling.

Share-IT scaled new heights after winning the silver award in the ‘Sustainable Living’ section of the 2007 Canadian Environment Awards, held at the Montreal Science Centre.
The award was presented by Jim Mather (CEO of Shell Canada), Michael Horgan (Deputy Minister of the Environment, Government of Canada) and the Chair of Canadian Geographic.

Share-IT scaled new heights after winning the silver award in the ‘Sustainable Living’ section of the 2007 Canadian Environment Awards, held at the Montreal Science Centre.
The award was presented by Jim Mather (CEO of Shell Canada), Michael Horgan (Deputy Minister of the Environment, Government of Canada) and the Chair of Canadian Geographic.
Share-IT receives the Great Grants Chair’s Award in 2005, the only community-based program to receive this coveted provincial award.
Share-IT program received the 2005 Great Grants Chair’s Award from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF).
The OTF’s Great Grants Awards are a tribute to excellence. The Chair’s Award recognizes the grant that best exemplifies the building of healthy and vibrant communities that meet diverse needs. The Share-IT program was selected out of 3800 eligible grant recipients.
