RANJANA MITRA
Executive Director

Ranjana is the co-founder of CEA. An environmentalist, people person and community developer, Ranjana is known to give voice to the voice-less, promote eco-conscious lifestyle, and develop innovative solutions to mitigate complex sustainability challenges. Ranjana has been recognized for her dedication to the Canadian society and beyond – including the prestigious Meritorious Service Medal and Decoration by the Governor General of Canada.

SARAH VERMA
Coordinator, Programs and Projects

Sarah contributes her skills to bring the community together, while solving environmental problems. Having always been curious and amazed by nature, Sarah finds it easy to take on new initiatives that tackle environmental issues. Sarah is not only trained in the sciences, but she is also a certified yoga teacher and a certified CAN-BIKE instructor.

Peter Bolton
Bike Whisperer

With has a reverence for the natural world and a passion for social justice, Peter uses his experience and skills to get people on bikes….a human powered vehicle of change! Peter has logged thousands of kilometers on bicycles, including treks across Canada and a yearlong 45+ country cycling Odyssey. On top of Peter’s extensive experience, he is also a CAN-BIKE certified instructor.

Computer Technician

Keane uses his computer know-how to support CEA in all things IT.

ROSE BARCARSE
Program Analyst

Rose hopes to bring her scientific research and analytical background to help develop programs and make a difference in our community. Even at an early age, she has always been curious of the natural world and over the years, she has become a bonafide tree hugger – and loving it! She has gained expertise in environmental stewardship and conservation, and is excited to delve deeper into humanistic environmentalism.

Louise-Anne Beaudoin
Admin Support

Louise-Anne helps support the team with her organization skills, event preparations, assisting bike repair and working on other tasks in the office. Having a love for art, she uses her visual and creative skills to make illustrations and props for upcoming projects and events with reusable materials.

Anielyn Benasa
Communications Consultant

With a desire to help people and the environment, Anie uses her design superpowers to work closely with the team to create consistent communication pieces that have purpose, clarity and flare. Using her academic background and years of experience in Communications and Designs, Anie engages every project with dedication, imagination and intelligence.
